I am Yuheng He, and I usually go by "Helina." I work as a multidisciplinary designer, creating socio-technical experiences and systems that are both eye-catching and research-driven.
My experience spans a range of projects, from building responsive websites for internal tools to leveraging digital technology for an NGO educational project, to developing user research pipelines for a small team. I am currently based in London, United Kingdom but originally from a mountainous province named Guizhou in China.
I recently graduated with a master's degree in material anthropology, complementing my five-year background in design. This decision reflects my core belief: that impactful UX design requires an understanding of users and their cultural contexts, going beyond aesthetics and technical skill. I value human connection and aim to use technology as a tool to bridge the physical and digital divide.
